  1. problems printing with HP 4V with MS2000

    I hope someone can help me with this annoying problem. Everytime I re-boot my pc my printer doesn't work. They way I get it to work is to go to control panel/system/hardware/device manager/port(LPT1) and then update driver. After that it prints fine until the next re-boot then I have to go through the whole process again. I have tried downloading a new driver but that didn't work either. A solution would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

    The only way I found to get rid of http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx is to start Internet explorer from Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Internet Explorer (no add ons). Once you launch IE you put the following address in the address window. http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx. Select your choices and go to the bottom of the page to submit. Once finished you will be back to your normal start page.
