  1. The public port From should be left empty. public Port To - 10011 Port Type TCP Host IP Address - The IP of the pc actually running the utorrent program, not of the router. It should be something like 192.168.x.x Private Port - 10011 Yianni.
  2. I'd suggest you search for alternate streams in your files, and/or for rootkits. There is a very helpful util from sysinternals (now in microsoft) called streams.exe that shows all the alternative streams in your files. They also have a rootkit revealer utility. Google sysinternals Regards, Yianni.
  3. In the OUs, only the individual users are affected by the GPs. However, in the security Filtering of each GP in Group Policy Management Console (the second window under Scope tab) you can put the security groups you want to have access to this policy. Yianni.
  4. I never tried that. If you can't do it by changing the filenames, try changing the Description Field under [OSChooser]. Remember to restart RIS after each change. Regards, Yianni.
  5. They are listed alphabetically alright, but not the sifs. The folders under REMINST\Setup\<LANG>\Images. Change the Names of the folders, restart RIS service and you'll get what you want. However, there is a slight catch: The RIPrep images will be based on the FIRST Flat image they find, i.e. if you have a flat Corporate image and a flat BARTPE image, make sure the bartpe image folder starts with "zzzz" or similar characters. I hope I am clear enough, Regards, Yianni.
  6. Hello, If you don't need any other files / folders on D: drive you can delete the partition from Disk management under Computer management and then recreate it. If you need to keep the partition, however, and your xp is professional, not home, you can right click on the stubborn folders, goto properties, Security tab, add your user name and give yourself full control. Apply, click advanced, tick the "Replace permissions ..." option and click OK on every dialog until you are back in explorer. If it refuses to add you, click advanced, Owner, change the ownership to yourself (or the administrators group to which I assume you belong), tick the "Replace owner on subcontainers..." and click OK again. If your xp is Home edition, all the above must be done in Safe Mode because you cannot see the Security tab in normal mode. Regards, Yianni.
  7. Hi, I faced the same problem with XPSP2 and .vbs, .bat and .exe installations running from network shares. I used a .reg file to add the location to the trusted sites list and the problem went away. The file is of the form: ------------------ Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Ranges\Range1] "file"=dword:00000002 ":Range"="192.168.0.2" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Ranges\Range2] "file"=dword:00000002 ":Range"="192.168.0.5" ------------------ etc Merge it before you run your program and it may solve your problem. I hope this helps you. Regards, Yianni
  8. Hi, I don't slipstream mine but in the batch file after the office setup I run: for /f "usebackq delims==" %%i in (`dir *.msp /o:gn /w /b`) do (msiexec /p %%i /qb /norestart) and it installs all patches placed in the same folder alphabetically. I hope it helps, Regards, Yianni.
  9. There are two very useful settings in GP under: User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Windows Explorer: - Hide these specified drives in My Computer - Prevent Access to drives from My Computer The first only hides the drive (e.g. c:) but you can still access it by typing it in the address bar. The second does ...well prevent access. The user still has access to %temp% and other critical folders. Read the relevant Help in the setting. A small hint, you will save yourself a lot of trouble if you don't give administrative rights to your users. Regards, Yianni
