yea miranda is light but buggy and trillian is nice

  2. Well... I actually already got one of my Christmas presents - a new set of pots and pans. I had been using this tiny little pot to make pasta, and it would always overflow...

Anyways - the new set is actually a used one that my dad and step-mom had on their boat, but who cares!!! I can cook food better now! :D

    lol good for you m8,

i have a DAS Keyboard..cost a little more than i would have liked to play but its completely blank...the lack of letters does help a person learn their typing, so its not all that bad to loose letters.

With all due respect, I find that the price of it is outrageous :w00t: , if anyone wants one, there is this nice DIY instructions:

If anyone is willing to modify his keyboard, I can recommend this tool:

which of course can be made as DIY in about 3 minutes with two bent paper clips or a little piece of copper wire.....

And yes, I still have 4 (four) salvaged "real" IBM keyboards, the good ol' ones that are HEAVY, have mechanical feeling and removable key "overcaps", the first one recently died after about 15 years if honourable service, so I guess I'm ok for the next 45 years at least.

fantastic m8 thats perfect thank you loads :thumbup

thanks every one for your ideals and thoughts

  5. ive been using a wireless logitech media keyboard for quite some time and some of the letters have started to fade off and some fully removed, i was wondering if any body knew a way to paint the letters back on the keyboard that looks good, or some other way

maybe its best to just buy a new keyboard but this one was kinda pricey and it works perfectly fine, its just sad to see about 8 of the letters partly or fully missing from the keys.

any body have any good ideals on what i could try, other then trying to use a form of white out, ive tried searching google but it seems this topic is non excistent

i was hoping to find some type of lettering kit, maybe sticker, or stencle, but no luck so far

  6. Junior asks his dad, "Daddy, how was I born?"

His dad sighs and replies, "Ah, my son, I guess one day you would have to find out anyway! Well, you see, your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on MSN.

Then I set up a date via e-mail with your mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive.

As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, but it was too late to hit the delete button.

Six weeks later your mom sent me an instant message saying that her operating system was showing signs of unauthorized program activity from a self extracting file which had implanted itself in her BIOS.

Then nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared and said:

    "You've Got Male!"

  7. well i havnt testted it out but id say the file your looking for is the installer.hta file from with in the common folder,,

you maybe able to use a hidden atribute, but if not you can always just put the height and width of the player at 1,, then it would just look like a little spec

other then that im not really sure how to appy the hidden=true feature that wmp has to offer

hope some of that helps you out,

edit.. hmm i might of mis under stood your question

your saying you want it to not auto start ?

if thats so then on line 268 of the installer.hta file which looks like this

    document.write('<param name="AutoStart" value="1">');

just change the value to 0
