  1. I get some broken updates with this test release. I checked my HF folder this morning (for 2k sp4 and xp sp2) and all seems to be exactly as the dynamic list
  2. Hi! One question: can HFGUIRUNONCE run installations if you create a winnt.sif file to logon with another user? Because when I do (I mean when I don't logon as Administrator) HFSLIP doesn't run the proper installations (in my case .NET 3.0 and Windows Defender). Another weird issue (that I think it's not related to HFSLIP but I ask you anyway) is that when I create users by this method, I only get limited users created. How could this be possible??? I'm pretty confused, maybe the limited user fact is the one that does HFSLIP not running startup installations? Thanks for the answers in advance...
  3. damian666 I have double pm'ed you bye
  4. I don't think is so unstable. As far as I'm concern is as unestable as XPize, because it does literally the same. And I've been using XPize for ages in my Windows XP. Never had any problems. So I think Vista pack has little bugs, that we are trying to correct all of us. But I don't think is unstable.
  5. I'm here, I'm here... ****, I'm a little busy these days... Testing new ver.... thanks damian
  6. Oh, it may be the spaces then. My old folder that cointained the source folder, was named Custom WXP. Now I changed it to hf_WXP. Maybe the space was messing up everything. Thanks Tomcat76
  7. I found the source of the problem. In order to apply the 48 bit LBA fix correctly, the path to the source\i386 folder cannot contain names with more than 8 characters lenght (I mean any directory must be renamed to 8 characters or less). Then the fix works and text based part of installation recognises the HDD real size. Thanks to all
  8. not needed to ask!!! Hey buddy! If you need some help with any spanish related issues, you can contact me anytime you want. Bye!
  9. But I run perfectly any other OS (like Windows XP, Ubuntu etc) and it recognises the whole lenght of my hard disk. How can it be possible? mosaddique, Tomcat76 thanks for the help
  10. Hi! After slipstreaming W2K Pro hotfixes and install it in my HDD (Maxtor 160GB), checkdisk starts scanning in my partition that exceeds the limit of Windows 2000 default partition size, and, obviously, corrupts my data. I include REG.EXE in HFTOOLS folder but even in first setup text screen my HDD is not properly detected in size (setup detects 136GB HDD aprox). Is there any fix for that? Have I missed something to enable large partition support? Thanks P.D. : I forgot, this is my HFSLIP config:
  11. It's XibaD, dude! And yes, it works at first sight...
  12. Same here, and I am using ATI (Radeon X1950 Pro). Outpost tray icon is wrecked (as are Nero install icons) and I have folders of XP icons that all have very jagged black edges. Strangely, a couple of icons in the control panel seem to be displaying correctly, but I may be mistaken as I can't be sure how they looked before (I did not pay them that much attention). I have cleared icon cache, unregistered DLL and re-registered, but it's still the same unfortunately. I've noticed that you CAN'T check "show icons with all possible colors" in desktop properties. When you register this dll, that box is unchecked. Have you re-checked it after applying the dll register?
  13. Sorry for my ignorance: what's a explorer.exe.32bitimgl file? How can I create it? Is it simply a blank text file with that name? :s
  14. For me all seems to be perfect with the last final release. With Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2000 SP4. Great job!
  15. Ok It would be nice. I have an idea of what has to be altered, but another oppinions are welcome. We'll try to fix it in the next release, we have to wait until damian comes back. By the way I have tested Tihiy's patch and looks great, but as I have said, we have to update lots of resources that were ripped off the pack.
  16. As I said in the HFSLIP forum, that's a great idea and a great work. It would be great to include this utility in the Vista Pack, if Tihiy let us to do so. But we will have to rebuild it, because we ripped off the most of XP 32bit icons
  17. Oh my god! This tweak can REALLY improve Win2k appearance. I think we might have to rebuild vista pack including this utility (if its creator would let us do it)
  18. Good luck boy! I expect hearing from you soon. You should send us pics of your new house!!! Greetings from Spain
  19. I can't have MU installed either. I've never gave much importance to this, but it's that way :s
  20. I have tested it. It's good and very light. Maybe we can include it in the next release... along with the Explorer patch to display 256 color tray icons
  21. I know, that's what I did. Thanks anyway
  22. The problem with the update is fixed. It was corrupted, you know. Thanks for all
