  1. Hi damian! Links you posted aren't working right now, so I can't try your awesome pack
  2. I have a little problem with the new version. My host system now is Windows XP x64. When the script reaches the point in which DX9 is beeing processed, the install screen of DirectX shows up, I click cancel, but nothing is slipstreamed to the XP 32 source. Any fix for that?
  3. Same for me here, but only in Windows XP. The icon turns to the original xplike yellow shield. I haven't found the solution. It doesn't happen in Windows 2000.
  4. Hahaha, take it easy man It's clean. The infected dialog is an AVG issue. Scanned with Nod32 and with Kaspersky. Everything fine. Bye!!!
  5. Also scanned with AVG, shows the same for me. Would it be an AVG issue or is it really infected? It's important to update databases, because mine were 2 days old and AVG did not recognize this exe as a trojan. EDIT: Scanned with NOD32 and KAV 7 also, it's showed as CLEAN file. Maybe is an AVG issue. Any other reports around there?
  6. How to do that? Does it involve creating desktop ini files? I've found an example in a ms website where in one of the screenies it's showed the webview, but they don't say how to enable it.
  7. I've tried it. What I have been looking for all this time is a webview for windows xp. I mean like windows 2000, integrated in the explorer, viewable with the tree view active and so on. In where you can preview images, videos, disk space, folder details... etc etc. This shellstyle hack is close, but it doesn't have those features...
  8. I would like to add the win98 web view to win xp. How you did that???
  9. Can't slipstream this update. WU complains that KB931836 is not installed. I download the pack and I extract the contents into the HFTOOLS folder. It's something else that I have to do??? Thanks
  10. I know that is a little hard to understand in the beginning, but if you only follow Tomcat76 dynamic list and you download the latest version of HFSLIP, there are any problems to slipstream IE6 nor any other updates (if they are supported by the script). I have been using HFSLIP for almost a year, and I tell you that is a very useful utility.
  11. This skin looks very nice to me Great job!
  12. This is the dynamic list of hotfixes for WS2k3 that Tomcat76 has build to use with HFSLIP. Check it out: http://users.telenet.be/tc76/winup/_win2k3sp2.html And you do not need post SP1 updates, since they are included in SP2. In my personal opinnion, HFSLIP is better for slipstreaming hotfixes than nLite, but you can use it too.
  13. I have all the updates since WU is all clean
  14. I have spanish OSes too and I don't have problems with timezone updates.
  15. I swear to god that I was using the latest version Nevermind, I downloaded again, I executed the script and all works fine. Sorry for the mistake Tomcat76
  16. Nope, it doesn't appear. It only shows processing net30 and language pack. I include xpsepsc-x86-en-us.exe and it's language pack and, although it's not showed in the dialog box, it get's perfectly integrated in the pack. But kb932471 is not.
  17. Well, I've tried several times and I can't get netfx30-kb932471-x86.exe integrated in silent net30 package. I throw the update in the SNM folder, is there something else that I have to do?
  18. About the netfx30-kb932471-x86.exe problem: I put it in SNM folder, with net 3.0, the language pack, xpsepsc-x86-en-us.exe and spanish language pack. All is correctly slipstreamed except 932471 that is showed in WU
  19. I can't get this update slipstreamed with the new SNM script either
  20. Yes, I hope this hotfix can be supported too
  21. I think this hotfix is not supported by HFSLIP xD BUT you can download de ISO, live try it, and if you like install it in your computer. In fact I have a dual boot with Kubuntu and it's grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat. Sadly I can't go all the way to it, because I'm a gamer and there are lots of games that don't run with the desired performance (or don't run at all) in Kubuntu (yet, I hope). Don't tell me about Cedega or Wine: I'm aware of all this and seriously, there is no worth it (in most of the cases). But when I have to surf the internet, listen to music, watch movies, check my email, chat with my friends, and make office documents... (K)ubuntu is the choice!!!
  22. Anyway that's not the logoff icon that my Vista x64 has. Both of them (logoff and shutdown) are XP style in Vista.
  23. I have installed a unadulterated Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2. There is no OE icon in quick launch, you were right.
