my custom exe is 135kb .. i'm guessing that isn't normal . rite ? EDIT : looked at .cmd file. and it need the NERO.exe file to be in NERO-* .. i had mine at nero6608.exe thanks it looks good

@zilexa : if you know how to integrate your own drivers into the 'presetup.cmd' of Bash's DP , d/l the drivers for your HP laptop and 7zip it and make it to unzip along w/ Bash's DP REM +=======================================================+ REM | Decompressing the DriverPacks to the harddisk | REM |-------------------------------------------------------| %SystemDrive% cd \ %CDDRIVE%\OEM\bin\7za.exe x -y -aoa %CDDRIVE%\OEM\DriverPack_*.7z -o"%SYSTEMDRIVE%" %CDDRIVE%\OEM\bin\7za.exe x -y -aoa %CDDRIVE%\OEM\Drv.7z -o"%SYSTEMDRIVE%\DP" the last line calls for my own drv.7z including all the extra drivers i needed to have, and i included sound drivers for my portcls.sys error prone Dell Desktop/Laptops .. not having drv for your hp laptop and windows just putting the RealTek Drivers inplace of the ADI SoundMax drivers might have caused the errors.

did you put soundB in the dp folder as well? try it w/ only SOundA

xp w/ only SoundA .. works fine w/ comp where there was portcls.sys error (dell 6000 laptop) will test soundB only *bah* new d/l

oh because all the portcls.sys problems i had was when installing in comp w/ adi chipsets w/ 'realtek' drivers present. on second thought, yeah i don't know if i'm right.. I might try it both ways, one w/ SoundA and one w/ Sound B now i think SoundB only will work i'll update on it good work as always bash

I would be forever grateful if someone could point me in the right direction on this question. <3 ← sysprep.ini ? i'm not familiiar w/ that, but i think if you can put $oem$ folder inside the image, yeah you can put the drivers in the folder ($oem$\$1\drv) or whereever you choose, and edit winnt.sif and put it in i386 folder i hope this si what ur talking about.. sorry if i didn't help

problem is driving me crazy.. anyone got answers ? is this because i put monitor .ini files under my DRV files ? nuhi, i checked that option to disable drv updates from web prompt, but it still pops up.. anyone having same problem?

followed the instruction and now Nero 6 'DEMO' is shown in the Start folder.. it was Nero 6 Ultra before i used this method.. any idea?

removed it, but gets same message window pops up saying if i want to update it through windows update.. hmm? i checked to remove that with nlite.

portcls,sys (i think) is problem when some AD chips (SoundMAX) have with RealTek driver.. i might be wrong. it's safe to delete path for RT .. although Realtek covers alot of soundchips on market right now, so deleting it defeats purpose of DP my take. i really hope the error is fixed .

hmm, i tried this, and set the .reg file w/ Serial info. i verified that .reg was taken affect, but UltraISO still asked for Key upon first try. i had to manually input my name and serial # .. anyone have same issue?

and i tried to remove 'update driver from web prompt' but i can't find it in 99.8 .. is it still there? *found under Tweak section*

*possible bug?* i've tried to add some Tweak options to my already nlited folder and i've added some tweaks.. and nlite has been stuck at 'preparing selected tasks' for 30 minutes now. *edit* fixed, files were set as 'read only'

i'm using nlite .998 and bash's DP .. i also use Ryan's 1.2 patch. the CD works perfectly fine, but i get this pop up during installation (where setup detects Hardware and monitor flickers couple times) .. and it asks me for my approval of 'connecting internet when hardware is connected' .. and i have to manually go through that step so then the setup resumes. anyone else getting this problem?? the Plug and Play Monitor installs fine when i choose "Install the software Automatically" (Recommended) thanks in adv.!
