That's funny, I don't get any MSN popups or MSN installs with the script.. Guessing they must have updated the install... I have since dropped this app, after finding it was burning more coasters then good CD/DVD's..

The above works, but for some reason it only worked in my VMware Test. When I tried to run the Installs from My cd on a real system it failed. Here is what I did to make it work. WIHUstart.cmd Then I placed my Software Folders within the WIHU Folder. "WIHU\Software\Productivity\VMwareSilentInstall\VMware.exe" <--Example The INI commands are then written like this.. Works perfectly... Everything installs from the DVD.

Yea I think you are right DonDamm, the link I suggested, is for after The Oem copy stage. I have not used it during that stage. As you, I am not sure it is possible to prompt for a second CD at that time. But, it is still a valid question. I have two DVD's worth of stuff I pre-load. So it can still be necessary to swap DVD's during an install. That's why I use the program above. It would be nice to know that it could be done at the OEM copy stage though.

Repairing a Dual-Boot: http://thpc.info/dual/repairdualboot.html Sounds like you overwrote your Windows Xp MBR With 98's . Section 1 and 2 of that page should repair the problem. Hope that helps.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Wonderful members of this forum. Over the last couple of days, I have been working on a Multi-boot DVD and the Unattended Windows Installations that are on the DVD. Thanks to the info contain in this forum I was able to achieve a perfect DVD on the first try, with out asking any questions. When I did have a question I found that it had already been asked here, so I got my answers just by searching. MSFN you get + 8=10, Thumbs Way, Way, Way up!!!!

I have Four PC's, 1 Xp Pro Sp1, 1 Xp Home Sp1, 2 Win98. The Only one that had the Problem is Xp Pro Sp1. I spoke to many people about it and none of them had the problem. All of them had Pro Xp Sp1. So I figured out that it was because I have Hardened security on that one PC. To much protection blocked out everything. As far as automatically having the protection on, I am not sure of that. I set it up In the Admin Account, and it has protected the whole PC no matter who is logged in. It does not impede Normal surfing. All things that are not Spyware or Adware will run normally on the web. To me it is the best Solution out there for stopping Web Adware and Spyware from being installed on your PC. It works All ways, all you have to do is update it and make sure the Protection is enabled. The Host File is also a Good Solution as well, but it can be a little more time Consuming. I don't want to sound like a Infomercial, But it has worked good for me.

For Web Level Protection Use. Spyware Blaster: I use it, I think it is the Best. It will stop Things like Spyware, Adware and I think some Trojans from being installed from the net. Now as far as Stoping programs from being install by the User in Win Xp, I am not sure of that. The only way I know of is to make them A Limited User. But there maybe another way, If someone knows please post it. My only other Suggestion would be use SpyBot Search And Destroy. SpyBot Search And Destroy: Just run scans on the PC often. Does anyone know how you would set up A CD to use hard Drive Emulation in Nero. I am not quiet sure what to set these 2 Settings At, that are Under the Tab Boot --> Expert Settings, In Nero New Compilation Wizard. I have A 30mb (Fat 16) BootImage, I want to set as the Boot-Image. Any Help, Thanks In Advance.

ERD Commander Will do the trick. Too:) I have used it many Of Time. Very easy to use. Just use the Lock Smith Function And those Passwords will be changed in no time Flat.

Possible Other Solution: As of right now there seems to be no Info On the site telling you how to Add your Own Nic Drivers, But the Site Owner will add the Driver for you If you Email them to him. I sent him my Ghost Driver, And he did Add it for me At the time. Hope that helps. Or One more Possible Solution: Hope These Suggestion Are Useful.

Well, just to let you know I Fixed the problem. Since Dos does not have to be Installed to work, I used an Old PC With a Blank Hard Drive, I took the Install disks and installed dos on that Pc. Then I copied the files From that PC To one of my Partittions on My other PC. Then Just Zipped Everything Up, and Put it on the CD. Everything works good. Next Task Run Windows 98 From a Ram Drive. That Looks to be Some what Harder. From what I have read.

Ok, I have Dos 6.22 on Floppy Disks. When I tried to Install it to My Ram Drive, It tries to Repartition and Format My C Drive. There seems to be no other option to choose where to Install in to. The System's I Have are either Windows 98 Or Windows Xp. But they have Two Hard drive Each, With many Partitons on Them. Question: So, What I want to know, is there anyway I can trick Dos 6.22 To Install itself On to my ram drive? Cause I really don't want to Repartition and format one of my 20Gig Partition Just to Install Dos6.22 on it Temporally. The Why Section: Right now I have a Boot CD That Runs Windows 3.1 In A Ram Drive. That was easy to make. All I did was First Make A Dos6.22 Boot Disk that creates A Ram Drive, then Install Windows Into My ram Drive, Which is Letter R:, Then Quit to the Dos Prompt and run Xcopy On the R:\Windows Directory, coping everything to A Windows Folder On one Of my Partitions. Then rebooted the Pc Back into Windows 98 and Zipped Up the Folder Containing the Windows 3.1 Files. Then Made A Boot disk that booted Dos 6.22 and Made a Ramdrive Of about 50MB, Then Unzipped Windows 3.1 Into the Ram Drive and runs it from there. That Works, No Problems. >>That Is the Short Verison<< Now what I would like to do is Make the CD A Bit more authentic, By adding Full Dos 6.22 to it, with an Assortment Of Old Windows 3.1 Programs. Ok, I have Dos6.22 Setup On Floppy Disks. I know, It's Old Now what I want to know, Question 1: Is there a way to Expand The Compressed Dos 6.22 Setup Files From the disks without Installing Dos 6.22? I know About the EXPAND COMMAND, But I don't want to Expand One file At A time. Question 2: If I Can't expand Them From the Disk, Can I Install DOS 6.22 To one of my Partitions Other Then The C Drive, without it damaging my Windows Xp Pro Config.? khonjo, Thanks, But the first Solution has solve the problem. I had made an error when I first Installed Xp. See I had Win98 On my C: Drive, I decided to Install Windows Xp On my D: drive, So that I would have A Multi-Boot and Also to test how well Xp Would work on my Pc. Well Xp Worked So Good That I Decided to Install it as the main OS and Chuck win98. So Instead of Uninstalling Xp First, I just Formated The D: Drive. When I restarted the Pc In Win98 I notice the Boot Menu Was still there. Then I went an installed Xp On the C: drive Where 98 was. But I did not Format the C: First. Xp Didn't Overwrite The Boot.ini File, It left it there. Puff, I had two Option in the Boot Menu Both For WinXp Home. If WinXp Had over wrote the Old Boot Ini I would not have had the Problem. Next time I will know Better. Format First, Then Install. Thanks Everyone For your Help.

I only have One Copy of Xp Home On My PC Now. It is installed on the C: drive. The other Drive that had Xp Home On Had to Be Replaced. When I Replaced it, It left this Darn Boot Menu on the C drive. I just want the PC to Boot Strait Into Windows Xp. What Should I do? Thanks In Advance.

Don't think for one minute, you don't need a Floppy drive. Even though most Pc's today don't need them, Long as they have the ability to boot from the Cd-Rom. But let's say something knocks out the Cd-rom Drive and you need to Boot the PC Independent of the Hard Drive, for a Diagnostic routine what then. The PC world is not ready, just yet, to let go of the Floppy Drive. But soon they will be gone
