  2. ^^ delete me, I'm blind
  3. If the drag-drop doesn't work, it's because you don't install VmWare tools ... I think ... by the way, since beta 5.5 the copy by network/shared folder is more accurate (in speed) for me ...
  4. Just for info, cmd can be deleted itself echo test pause del %0 /f
  5. strange ... I will try to help you (I havn't see this problem before ...) you can send a screenshot of Disk Manager ?
  6. You can use reg method ... Configure all the exceptions on one computer and export [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile] and after import the output regfile in new computer ... After to take effect run in cmd : net stop SharedAccess net start SharedAccess Goodbye.
  7. yes, CD doesn't require activation are CD with generic key, and activation it's done by oembios files (so we must keep the original bios/material original from the oem like HP, Dell & co. ) ... However, Corporate version is other method, the key works on all system and there nothing about activation ...
  8. You say "I don't know if this applies", this is about my regfiles ? (sorry, i'm french ^^)
  9. Doesn't work from the first service pack ! just works with rtm windows xp ... For basic ghost, if the system is same as the source, no problem for activation, because windows think is okay, and it's okay for genuine too ... but this method works only if the system is same ... personnaly I use this, but my final client has windows xp with his key product and he can reinstall without any problem with activation too ... It's same method of oem company they ship their windowswith key differs from their sticker ...
  10. I agree with Bezalel, CD "masters/restore" from oem (like HP, Dell & co.) are unattented and activated/validated by oembios ...
