For beta versions use /install switch for instalation.

This happen to me too. I'm using potuguse (portugal) language packs!

When installation starts, I manage to see that all files go to temp directory and 3 log files are created. Since I don't have time to test this weak (I'm not at home) I can't remember wich log is, but one is the settings for nero 9 and, it says that deployment can be done by nero_ds.xml. This file can be obtained in "nero lite". If some one have a litle time can test and post here the results.

I manage to discover that there are 4 types of instalation of nero 9. InstallerCategory id="2" refers to that. If you change id the serial will be different. In setup.xml find <SequenceOrders id="SequenceOrders" child="SequenceOrder"> <SequenceOrder id="Install" child="Sequencee"> <Sequencee id="IDD_DLGWELCOME_INSTALL" child="Properties"> <Properties id="Properties"> <Prop id="SequenceOrder">1</Prop> </Properties> From SequenceOrder">1 to SequenceOrder">26 you have the order of instalation. You may try to remove and see what happens. IDD_DLGEULA removes EULA.

CMenu doesn't detect installer type and none of commands for known installer works. Since Nero 9 is installed using xml language and, after playing a litle bit with setup.xml I manage to bypass a few passes in nero's installer. But still is not silent... it asks for serial....

Not working.... I've also tryed with /qb, /S and /silent commands. Any ideas?

.NET Framework 2 sp1, .NET Framework 3 sp1 and .NET Framework 3.5 is out. I'd like to have those also in silent install, would be most appreciated.

I get same thing using CEoCEo script for nero 8 on fresh XP source with latest updates... If you have corel installed it will happen that and, also if you installed any microsoft update without rebooting Nero will try to reboot. Can someone discover how we can avoid that?

Mine works fine but.... xpsepsc-x86-pt-pt.exe (I use portuguese languages) is not processed. I get message from windows update to update xps language.... xpsepsc-x86-en-us.exe is processed. Can you fix it? And KB925720 (card space) would also be nice.....

New upddate for net framework 1.1: NDP1.1sp1-KB928366-X86.exe And new upddate for net framework 2.0: NDP20-KB928365-X86.exe Can you also do update for those?

Mine takes about 1h30 but installs all windows hotfixs, ie7, directx, office, nero, divx codecs, antivirus and has all driverpacks sleepstreamed....

Unfortanally for may language that is Portuguese from Portugal, ieak7 is not available yet.... so I have to do by the trick....

Well..... It works.... Tested by me right now at T13 and in RunOnceEx and all RunOnceEx programs installed well. My Windows is XP PRO Portuguese and IE7 is also in Portuguese language.

As I said you have to install ORCA and in Property of nero.msi you have to remove the lines with those files.....

Done!!!!

"Version"="7.7.5.1" "User"="User" "Company"="Home" Then create a batch file: regedit /s nero.reg (this is registry above) SetupX.exe TRANSFORMS=xxxx.mst /qb! (xxx is the number of your language pack) If you have any errors during instalations, just install orca and remove in nero.msi the entries of the errors.

Hi. Does anyone knows how to automatically configurate Symantec LiveUpdate for "Express mode" with both options enable ("automatically start the session when live update is lauched" and "automatically exit at the end of the session")? I've managed to creat a registry file wich enable daylly automatic updates for symantec antivirus but I don't know how to configure Symantec LiveUpdate.
