KB909520 won't integrate and install silently

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am doing basic unattended setup with post SP2 hotfix integration. I have managed to integrate all hotfixes and some addon packs with nLite and SVCPACK method.

However I keep failing on getting KB909520 to get installed during setup. I have tried using nLite as it should support it according to the site and changelog, I have also tried SVCPACK.INF with the following switch

KB909520.exe /q /n /z

However, it will show up in windows update all the time. It never seem to get integrated into windows. Is there any way to solve that or does anyone have any magic trick to do it?

Any help is appreciated. Other than that I'd like to thank for a wonderful forum and site that helped me alot.. :)

Edit:

Microsoft Base Smart Card Cryptographic Service Provider Package: x86 (KB909520): Windows-KB909520-v1.000-x86-ENU.exe is the file, with the change that its named Windows-KB909520-v1.000-x86-SVE.exe in my case (swedish windows) and renamed to KB909520 when installing from SVCPACK.

Best regards

In my RunOnceEx.cmd

REG ADD %KEY%\040 /VE /D "Microsoft Base CSP" /f

REG ADD %KEY%\040 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\INSTALL\Update\BaseCSP\KB909520.exe /passive /norestart" /f

It's OK!
