1 pointHave you followed the advice of this poster?: Sure it's on Haswell, but Skylake's like one generation higher (if you don't count Broadwell). EDIT: Just checked - that guy has tested it on x86 Vista, which is already confirmed working, so not sure how things may be with Vista x64.

1 pointSomeone may have mentioned this before, but Windows Vista seems to run fine with Haswell if it is installed on another computer and then the hard drive is moved to a Haswell system. I tried this with Windows Vista 32-bit (but it should work with any version) and had no problems arise. I didn't install drivers or do any extensive testing but it seemed to be fine. This was with a Q87 motherboard and an i7-4790 CPU. I do plan on setting up the OS properly in the future, so I'll see if anything changes.
