teqguy Posted February 6, 2006 Share Posted February 6, 2006 weight, who cares about weight, lolas long as you use their backplate you'll be fineActually, the backplate only prevents the motherboard from bowing under stress; it doesn't eliminate stress, it just distributes it more evenly.Heatsinks like the Ninja still have a lot of weight and a very long moment arm, and the backplate doesn't aid in relieving either.
