Hi Kels,

3 weeks ago in this topic HERE, i asked what to do to migrate from WPI 5.6 to WPI 6.0. I followed yr advise and got success runing WPI 6.0

Today, i tested WPI 6.2 (I copied just config.js and useroptions.js). WPI start well, i selected the progs to install,

then since i click on [begin Install] i got the following message

then i click [OK] then a second time on [begin Install] i got the following message

After a click on the [OK] the install started and it install everything twice

I tested WPI 6.1 and got exactly the same errors

I had hardly any UID in my config.js... It works until v6.0.

Some of your apps are missing their UID's

Like Kell already said in your config.js file most of "uid[pn]=['']" are missing!

There are also some apps which have the same UID's like:

'pagesucker' and 'partition magic' --> uid[pn]=['PARTITIONMAGIC8.5'] ??? same uid's

'MUIPolish Pack' and 'Vista Sidebar v2.2' --> uid[pn]=['OPERAWEBBROWSER80BETA1'] ??? same uid's

check them, they must have a unique UID

OK that is the UAC (User Account Control) You can disable this manually before you run wpi. BUT if you use the sources folder provided WPI runs JUST before the UAC kicks in and their is no issue.

Just want to know if some has the same problem.. when i add an app i uncheck the DEFAULT option but it doesn't apply the change, and in the config.js the statement says dflt[pn]=['no'];

You did not select a html yet or the file you provided does not exist.
