wtf! stupid amd! they are going out and flashing their native quad all over the place and now they are doing the same thing that intel is!

btw, i said im going to see what the news is on amd when those price drops are, no one really knows how teh intel quads and amd quads will compare.

buy a pair of E6600s, and find a good dual cpu mobo (giving you quad cores in two chips) if you want/need that kind of potential performance and/or bragging rights.

That's not possible. You will not find a dual socket motherboard for Core 2 Duo (or Quad) CPUs. Intel hasn't supported multi-CPU/socket setups for their desktop CPUs since the introduction of the first P4's. You have to move up to Xeon's for dual socket support.

That's okay, I'm not a hardcore AMD fan. I just like their products cause they're real nice for the price. I have a few of their CPUs and very satisfied.

Hope Barcelona is as good as they say it is, that's all I want. Some good hardware for a good price. AMD usually delivers that.

Plus I bought AMD stock so I'll be REAL p***ed if its a flop. But for a different reason.... money.
