because I dont have ALL the fonts, maybe I miss some nice fonts, I am open to suggestions...

Verdana is the easiest on the eyes that I know of.

Well, there are hundreds of pages on the net and in literature about this topic, it is not as easy as it may seem.

It also depends whether we are talking about printed or on-screen text.

Usually, sans-serif fonts are more readable on-screen, while serif fonts tend to be more readable in smaller size and printed.

I recently read an article that proclaimed Helvetica is the most common modern font.
