Yes it does, it´s not only DPi where we are talking about also the refresh freq.. nLite for example has the tweak build in, for the hardcore gamers among us ;).

ive said in some other thread about this, when i change it all it does is makes my mouse move slower. and i just hate it. and being a hardcore gamer mean playing lots of games :) im fraggin ppl like crazy in bf2142 and thats what really matters.

get the deathadder, the copperhead was a bad release by razer, loads of problems, the deathadder is a superb mouse, you won't be dissapointed!

plus its by far the most comfortable mouse i've ever used, its so sleek

Increasing the USB frequency can sometimes cause BSOD:s.

I had lots of BSOD:s after changing it to 250 or 500 Hz (with a MX500) a few years ago, changed it back and all problems were gone.

Depends on your mobo chipset, not on that mouse ;).

Yeah, I know.

I was giving an example of what may happen and just mentioned the mouse I was using at the time, maybe should've left that part out.

i was just at PCClub earlier and got a feel of the G5. Boy that mouse fit my hand perfectly!!

Still wanting the buy the mx518 cause its cheaper, has 2 thumb buttons and is optical.

Is there a huge size difference between the g5 and the mx518?

i told you that you would love it! as punto said, same size. but they do have a different weight.

whats the weight difference? anyone know?

and by that i mean comparing the g5 with no add on weights and the mx518
