I have played around with the services as well, but i would rather not mess with the function of windows just to save 150mb of RAM. 768mb is getting useless now, even with XP

XP Can function quite well on 512MB of RAM providing that you keep your HDD organized, defragmented and use good lightweight software.

yea im happy with 768MB here

i was with 256MB i think to upgrade to vista after adding 512MB

but now xp runing fast and vista kinda lazy then im stay with xp
