Invisible folder

I want to hide folder (make folder invisible) on a CD. Is it possible?

If it is possible then please advice me how can i do that. Or which software can do that.

Right-click on the folder, click Properties, click the Hidden attribute, click OK. When you burn that folder, the attributes will also be saved when it is burnt to the CD.

Yep, but if the user of the machine where the CD is inserted has checked "view hidden files and folders", the CD directory will be visible allright.

Thank u guys for your help. But i want to mask my folder neither hide of invisible it.

Actually i faced the same tweak in Active@boot or similar named application from rapidshare.

I downloaded the bootable ISO file and when i extract that i got only few pdf files, i m not been

able to find the supported files which make it working in DOS mode, Just like "Hiren's BootCD".

Maybe it is not an "invisible folder" it is an "invisible partition", or at least sort of, it could be a particular kind of .iso where an entire bootable filesystem is written in the bootable sectors, or it could be an image of either a filesystem of a CD inside a monolithic file that is mounted at booting.

I cannot say more without knowing the exact application that is used, is this the one program?:

If it's this one, I did look at the trial version:

it appears to be a "normal" El-torito emulation bootCD with an image of 2.880 Mb floppy as bootsector.

When you boot from the CD, the "hidden" files are not hidden at all, the floppy image is mapped either as A: or B:, and the files within it are normally visible.

It's so useful 4 me. I will try this one and reply u back. I hope that the tweak that i want to know.

And also thanks for ur suggestion to not to post or not to talk abt crack/hack. Actually i didn't know that these all are restricted on here, so i did that ....... n ..... for 5 day my account had blocked , that was my first mistake ... i will not do that again.
