FF vs IE

Hi,

I have IE & FF installed, & I'm using FF as the default one.

once in a while IE decides makes himself the default without being asked.

is there a known reason?

It might just be that every time you use IE, it takes over the default status.

Then using FF again should set it back, if you have FF set properly.

FF should be updated to 2.0.0.3

In FF, click Tools on the upper tool bar, then click "Main" and at the bottom of the page

make sure the box is checked for FF to check to see if it's still the Default Browser.

I don't want FF to check everytime cause it will ask me.

I want it to automaticly be selected, as I always had it...

(yes I have latest version)

what about it?

You can tell IE not to checdk if it is the default browser and in Control Panel you can set your default program to Firefox insteand of Internet Explorer.

it is already unchecked...
