Thermal Perspective of Hardware

If anyone wants to see the true heat and temperatures of this particular mobo to get a rough idea for all mobos, check out this link my friend gave me:

http://www.bigbruin.com/reviews05/nf4therm...ndex.php?file=1

For a very short period of time, I do not have any cooling on my North Bridge whatsoever and it's 75C steady. My CMOS and System Clock reset and my PC took two pushes of the power button to make my fans spin. ;)

I'M A DONKEY ON THE EDGE! :w00t:

crap i cant find the link, it was on dfi street but since thats gone now im not sure where to find it again. but it was for the dfi nf4 board and it was a very nice thermal pic for where ppl should add those tiny heatsinks to chips.

i stuck one onto my PCI chipset as its a steady high 60's C...you wouldn't want your finger on it for long, its the PCI slots link to the CPUs.. as for the 440GX chipset...i wouldn't even want to be able to touch it...its probably blazing...

yea, my board is probably a lot warmer than that, but once i have the money and after i get all the ram i can, i'll be putting in some more stick on ram heatsinks to a couple chipsets around the mobo that heat up beyond ok, and also replace all the fans with 120mm Aerocools...89CFM each...that'll be good i hope.
