Well, If you give a better title name, you might get help. But I dont think you can, But I could be wrong... I never used one that I had to write protect it, Unless its and U3 Technology USB drive.

there should be a utility thats on the usb drive, try taking a look at the options on there. otherwise there may be a little button you need to move over like on floppy drives.

another thing you can try is going into device manager and uninstalling ur usb drive's driver. then unpluggin ur drive and putting it back in... not sure if that will work tho
