phkninja
firstly try open winrar then open the archive. Then click on information, see if its a solid archive and if it has recovery info embeded. Then do a test. You will probably find some of the data is corrupt, and if it doesnt have recovery info you will prob never get it to extract. The last resort would be to open the file in a hex editor and see what the first few bytes contain.rar contains the first 4 bytes of 52 61 72 21 (Rar!)zip contains the first 2 bytes of 50 4b (PK)7z contains the first 2 bytes of 37 7a (7z) Edited February 8, 2007 by phkninja

Yzöwl
I took a look at a Google Web search result, and this file is only around 7MB in size and readily available in several RapidShare mirrors.<Edit>It appears that the file you think you've downloaded, you haven't.What you have is a web page, not a rar file!</Edit>Just download it again, from here. This time try downloading it, not right-clicking on a link with save target as

phkninja
rapidown is for rapidshare.de, .com is totally different and most times rapidown doesnt work on .com(reading the hex edit you gave the html links are to rapidshare.com) Edited February 16, 2007 by phkninja
