Jeremy Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 He has a radeon, but doesnt like their drivers.I used to have issues with drivers as well many years ago, then I started uninstalling and updating them properly and haven't had a problem since.Radeon x1600 128mb for $69Radeon x1600 256mb for $85I'd go with the 256MB one.
puntoMX Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Are the RAM speeds the same? Some times they trow on cheaper RAM with the 256MB versions to put pressure on the prices so please check that first and I think you will find you answer there about what card will be better .
nmX.Memnoch Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 It didn't take too much to look at the links he provided and figure out that the RAM speeds are the same...both 1.2GHz 128-bit GDDR3. BombaTwist: Definitely tell him to go with the 256MB version.
