I ran vLite both from XP and now Vista, but never from C-drive. I always use d: or e: also my image is also sometimes on the same drive sometimes on the other.

Might it be that there is some other process that checks the file instead of a virusscanner? Windows Malicious software tool running in background, Windows Defender, Ad-watch from Ad-aware?

Or does it always produce this error on the same file and is there no coïncidence?

I got this error and I have no adaware scanner, no antivirus software etc..

I was running vlite from e:\ and my vista files where located in d:\ and temp folder = e:\

then tried to run vlite from c:\, didn't work and temp folder c and didn't work

now trying to run both vlite, temp folder and installation folder from c and see what happens.

also tried logging in as admin instead of using runas-command nut it didnt do any good either
