Hello

what Water cooling system do you Recommed for Over clocking my system.

or what Extreme Air Cooling system.

i dont want it to cost too much, if possible, i have never worked with these before.

But i want to cool my 2 Nvidia 6800 GS Cards,

my AMD Athlong Dual core 4800+ 939 Pin CPU,

my nForce 4 Chipset, and also my memory, DDR of course

(the chipset might be hard, because my GPUs cover over the fan :()

Any help would be great thanks, Ethan

If you want to cool all, then a kit will not do, not even 2 kits. So, you will have to go with separated parts witch makes it also more fun :).

Then there are more questions:

- You like an internal or an external radiator? Fan less perhaps?

- What brand of case do you have or are you going to buy?

- Are you using a side window or so?

right, this is what i got

currently

a jantech Aqua Case, which is ATX of course,

with a Side Panel,

i would prefer a Internal one, but it wont fit in my case

a Fan is not a problem, ive lived with fans all my computer life, like currently i got like 8 fans on my PC lol

i dont really want to buy a new case, cos ive just bought this one,

ok, how bout Just CPU

because i want to over clock my beast :D

Thanks

Ethan

Make your own kit:

- Radiator with 2 or 3 12cm fans

- Pump

- Hoses and clips

- Liquid, not just plain water

- Resevoir

- And the cooling blocks; CPU, GPU and chipset for example

The pump is for me always the most important part; it must be the most reliable part of your system. Some external radiators have build in pumps; look at the Zalman for example.

I see also that the site you gave me doesn’t offer so much, well, they have pictures but nothing in stock ;). You are going to pay fleet-cost any way so why don’t you get it outside the UK? Just make sure the pump is 115volts and there you go ;).

And remember that you have to drill and kut in your case most of the time!

you sure u can handle watercooling? it can be dangerous if you get a leak or dont change ur water. im not trying to scare you. if you are used to air then why not just use better aircooling?

Posted

again, im looking to over clock, and yes i am scared to be honest, because its not a cheap system lol

i dont know what air cooling to get,

cos its a AMD 4800+ Dual Core Chip

its only running at 2.41Ghz

lol

Any ideas on the best soultion for me then?

Thanks

Ethan
