weirdst thing..... in Driver's

I have an nLite'd install and a FULL brand new install and and DEC Integrated in stall.....

Problem is when I go (and this is with the latest updates from NVIDIA installed) to device manager and then scroll down to :

System Devices

There is a driver which is disabled labeled:

PCI standard RAM Controller

Any thoughts.... thought this might be best answered in hardware related as well it has to do with hardware.

Reinstall your motherboard chipset driver and it would be okay.

did that..... same problem still.... i enable it,... restart.... back to disabled..... this is with the newest driver download for the NVIDIA chipset.... weird... even on this XP home PC im on right now it has the same problem and it didnt have this problem until I updated the drivers to the newest ones from the NVIDIA site.

As far as I know, it´s used for the PCI-E bus.

hmmm weird.... its disabled... no system problems... runs a bit slow for a 4400+ X2 2x1MB cache..... very strange.....

let me know if there is anything I can do to get you more information.

so u integrated ur drivers with nlite? if so then redo nlite without integrating. i have never had a sucessful experience with integrating drivers w/ nlite.

It may be that your hardware supports DEP - Data Execution Prevention - at the hardware level.
