Problem is when I go (and this is with the latest updates from NVIDIA installed) to device manager and then scroll down to : System DevicesThere is a driver which is disabled labeled:PCI standard RAM Controller Any thoughts.... thought this might be best answered in hardware related as well it has to do with hardware.Thanks to any who can clue me in as Google and Forum searches are turning up nothing. kane3162 Posted January 8, 2007 Author Share Posted January 8, 2007 did that..... same problem still.... i enable it,... restart.... back to disabled..... this is with the newest driver download for the NVIDIA chipset.... weird... even on this XP home PC im on right now it has the same problem and it didnt have this problem until I updated the drivers to the newest ones from the NVIDIA site. kane3162 Posted January 8, 2007 Author Share Posted January 8, 2007 hmmm weird.... its disabled... no system problems... runs a bit slow for a 4400+ X2 2x1MB cache..... very strange.....let me know if there is anything I can do to get you more information.
