footballking3420 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I'm basically trying to remove ODBC and Jet database engine from the install while still being able to run OOo and MediaMonkey.So does anybody know all the files that are needed to run OOo and MediaMonkey that are part of ODBC and Jet Datatbase Engine?

Are you strictly using JDBC?

newsposter Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 If you load Office/Access doesn't that either reload or update the Jet engine anyway?? So if it's removed from an OS source no big deal, right??If so, just go ahead and delete Jet and ODBC with nlite but keep the one .dll (ODBCCP32.DLL) needed to support both OOo and MM.
