Can iPode be used on the car with a car kit!?

Vastly depends on which iPod you plan on using.

Regardless though, there are other methods, ie) an FM transmitter or a cassette adapter. These two methods will work with anything that has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

There are some iPod specific ways, ie) an adapter that allows you to use the iPod controls through the controls of your vehicle, however, I don't beleive these work with the Nano/Shuffle models.

The iPod Video with 30Gb is about the smallest you can get right now with a Hard drive, unless you want a flash drive, which the biggest you can get is 8Gb. (iPod Nano 2nd Generation with 8GB - Black only)

I'm thinking of getting one this summer, but I really don't know. I'm not really happy with my iPod Nano 1st Generation. It's really nice looking, but the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. That and the amplifier in it is terrible. It barely has enough power for the headphones I use with my Creative Zen Nano (note the name ) The treble is really nice, but theres almost no bass.\

I don't know about the iPod video though, perhaps it has a better amplifier in it?

sure. be sure you also buy an ipod car charger so you can charge the ipod's battery in your car when the ipod battery runs out. car chargers for ipod was cheap (I recently bought one at ROSS for $5 bucks)

Are you pluging that into a hub? If it does list something id device manger click on it to get properties then gpt driver driver details button. If there is special driver files dlete the device entry again and also delete these files. ONly do this if they are special not some kind of other drivers you also use like mass storage.

Sorry to pull your Rod back there again, but this is The Main problem I'm facing, I own a Toshiba Laptop and just gotten a new iPod Shuffle 1GB 2nd Generation 2007 from "Santa" and I've been doing some reaserch into the little bugger cause I'm a cheap-skate and won't buy any of The software on the market.

Re-viewed mostly all posts and want to put an end to chasing down software for it. also i don't have much of a clue what will happen when i use this software,

is where i found the anapod and the reinitilializer (if your starting from scratch you need to format the thing to suit the windows platform, all other happy hackers who tried installing thier Mass Storage Device E: driver through a USB hub and tried calling it G: need to run it through win XP atleast once to format it...which i did )

p.s. On the Contrary when i took it to my friends Xp computer he already had a nano installed and the shuffle was gettin real s***ty tryin to open the drive while initializing it through iTunes...

so we took it to his Xp Laptop and loaded iTunes there two and it finally worked.

Got the ipod98driver from redchairsoftware too, and it's installed.
