techguy21801 Posted September 21, 2003 Posted September 21, 2003 hi all, i have a question for you all. soon i am going to go after my MCSE certification and it's been a couple years since i studied for any certifications. anybody here know of any real good practice test sites and such helpful places. there are a lot out there and figured this place would have a rundown on the good ones. thanks all
Doggie Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 tried microsofts site itself? they have exam help guides and links to other sites with practice sheets..
Mpak Posted October 2, 2003 Posted October 2, 2003 First buy RAID controller for your hdds, then get MSCE. ) Else you're not an engineer
Guyver Posted October 4, 2003 Posted October 4, 2003 http://www.cramsession.com is a good site helped me get my MCP's and my MCSE also does A+ and loads of others hope this helps and Good Luck but believe me it aint hard its just knowing the MS way of doing things rather than the efficient way lol
un4given1 Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 My opinion on MCP, MCSE, MCSA (or any other cert). If you have to "cram" for them then you don't deserve them. Most of the items on the tests are items that most people who get their certs have never done in real life, just read in a book. These are the people who saturate the IT market and lower the standards. These are the fools who belong behind a level 1 helpdesk.
techguy21801 Posted October 7, 2003 Author Posted October 7, 2003 well i do agree that real world experience is the best way to learn anything. especially in the IT world.
Wicked187 Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Goto http://www.transcender.com/, you can download demos of their practice tests... they help you out to gauge your knowledge of the exam quite well... I am going to do the upgrade to Win2K3 soon, so I will probably check them out today, as well.
