Install kb908531 and be happy.

Hi, sysadmins! Is there any tool to get information about all Scheduled Tasks from all my servers in the domain? Ideally, not only view this tasks, but edit them too. I have many servers, I don't quite remember what task is running when and where. At the moment I use my own notes to get this info, but i wonder if there is any helpful tool... Tia.

Things to do: 1. Choose Safe Mode instead of Start Normally. 2. Or Choose Last Known Good configurtaion 3. Or try to reinstall Windows in Repair mode.

I use Mozilla, `cause it has: - built-in pop-up blocker - search through the page (no need to use F3, just type text and see result) - search Google from address bar - search Google by "select on page and search in the web" - tabbed browsing - frames explorer - banners blocker etc. Mozilla is fully compatible with IE, has NTLM authentication and many others features. new version every monts, plugins, skins... You will never be attacked by hack sites, as it is for IE, no one can control your search engine, favorites and ActiveX plugins. Try, guys!

If you haven't AD there, AaronXp's solution is good. When you has AD with server to be PDC, you have to have another server with SUS, and solution above become too expensive for you. But AD allows you to deploy already prepared patches by Global Policy Objects.

Try run Symantec home soft with /server switch in command line. Some time ago it worked.

Who do you name "your russian friend"?? Me? I'm not saying that Symantec AV CE is lacking something. Quite the contrary, it has everything you need for corporate (easy deployment, unattended install, almost everyday updates, etc). Concerning mail you should use Symantec AV for Gateways, that's all.
