boooggy Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 did same as u did and everything went fine.
xenz Posted December 10, 2006 Author Posted December 10, 2006 Happen to have any suggestion what could went wrong in my case ?- Only happen with Windows XP OEM (Pro or Home) which require activation.- Work fine with Corp and Royalty OEM which doesnt' require activation.- Haven't test with Retail.Thankyou
xenz Posted December 10, 2006 Author Posted December 10, 2006 (edited) so I suppose it's the OEM Windows XP Pro CD. Hmm... but I had also tried 5 different copies of Windows XP Pro OEM English version which is from different batch of shipment over a period of 6 months off my company. Really puzzled me.Say boooggy, your OEM should require activation after installation, right ? Not Royalty OEM, am I understanding correctly ? Edited December 10, 2006 by xenz

Speeddymon Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Possibly something with the CD. Make sure your sources are 100% clean (copy the CD to HDD into a new folder and re-slipstream if you have to). I have an OEM XP SP1 CD that I slipstreamed SP2 to and then slipstreamed IE7 (using nlite of course) to and I have no problems. My CD still requires activation, before and after having made these changes to it, so the problem is not whether your windows has to be activated, and it is not whether it is retail, oem, or corporate, its something else to do with your files. Here is the easiest way to fix the problem:1) Delete any copies of XP cd that are on your HDD2) Copy original (not burned) cd to HDD3) If your original CD is not SP2, slipstream that. If it is, then skip to step 4. DO NOT SLIPSTREAM ANY HOTFIXES, NO RYANVM UPDATE PACK, NO BOOOGY UPDATE, NOTHING.4) Use nlite to integrate IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe5) TestIf that works, then go back and do over, but include one of the update packs (ryanvm, or booogy, or siginet)
Skulldiggers Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Yeah, i have included ALL hotfixes and stuff BEFORE IE7 (IE 7 was my last integration xP)Okey, i'll test this tomorrow xP

giaco Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I had the same problem with WXPVOL_BR, sp2, all hotfixes and the ie7.I tested with sp2 + ie7 and it perfectly worked.I will make other tests and to post the results.
giaco Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I tested again, with sp2 + all hotfixes + ie7 and crash!Without hotfixes it works, with, not.
gugutz Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 any news?i´m having the same problem here with my Corporate CD.i´m also having those "framedyn.dll" and "srclient.dll" problem.I´m almost sure is some of the new hotfixes that is causing my problems.has anyone tried to first integrate IE7 and then open nlite again and integrate the hotfixes?
nuhi Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 When you integrate hotfixes in second run do you skip IE 6 fixes?Because those fixes would corrupt IE7 by their regentries which are now applied later and thus have priority.
baseball2525 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I have made an IE 7 addon to use with nlite...with this addon and RyanVM's Post-SP2 Update pack I have been able to make an install CD that is completely up to date with windows update. I have tested this addon with a copy of XP Corp and it worked perfectly...enjoy!http://rapidshare.com/files/12601764/Baseb..._Addon.cab.html
