Corrupted line in driver files

I added this file in my source but when I test it, it corrupt line where it reads [sourcedisknames], it came off the the CD Drive with all my gateway drivers can I just take it out? Thank you, John

If you do then you would need that driver file, or one from Broadcom for the 440 series nics that works for your device.

Yes I have a Broadcom '440x 10/100 Integrated Controller' how do I edit this to work??

download the driver from Broadcom, here and try it instead.

I'm a bit confused here. Does it have anything to do with HFSLIP? If so, into which HFSLIP folder are you putting that file?

HFEXPERT\DRIVERCAB. The INF file goes in there as well.

But this only works with merging options A, B or C.

Not sure where you are finding those particular files. the only file installed by the posted inf for windows xp is bcm4sbxp.sys.

I found them on the restore disk created by Gateway, are these not device drivers? If so shouldn't I include them in HFSLip? Where do they go? John
