Tomcat76 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 RBCC--I'm a bit confused here. Does it have anything to do with HFSLIP? If so, into which HFSLIP folder are you putting that file?
RBCC Posted December 5, 2006 Author Posted December 5, 2006 Tomcat:I have three files a file called bcm42rly.vxd ,wltrysvc.exe and net10248.drv; where do these go in hfslip? John
Tomcat76 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 (edited) HFEXPERT\DRIVERCAB. The INF file goes in there as well. But this only works with merging options A, B or C. Edited December 5, 2006 by Tomcat76
IcemanND Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Tomcat:I have three files a file called bcm42rly.vxd ,wltrysvc.exe and net10248.drv; where do these go in hfslip? JohnNot sure where you are finding those particular files. the only file installed by the posted inf for windows xp is bcm4sbxp.sys.
RBCC Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 I found them on the restore disk created by Gateway, are these not device drivers? If so shouldn't I include them in HFSLip? Where do they go? John
Tomcat76 Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Please follow IcemanND's link and download the driver for your OS.
