jaws75 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 (edited) My AutoUnattend.xml works awsome. The only think I would like to change is if the autounattend.xml is on the DVD or in the floppy at first boot the unattended installation starts automatically.I don't want that. I would like for it to go to the screen where the install button is and wait for me to click it.Why you ask?If it's on the DVD then I do not have an option to repair the installation.Sure I can leave the floppy out until I get to the screen with the install button and insert it before I click it. That works.Has anybody figured that one out?Or am I the only one with this problem? Thanks in advance. Edited December 3, 2006 by jaws75
Gamam Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Hi Jaws75,May I please copy of your Autonunattend.xml file as I am having trouble to adjust mine? Thanks in advance
eqisow Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Same problem here. Is there an option or a way to make it ask if you want to repair even with an autounattend.xml file?
COOLCOMPUTERGUY Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I have found there is no way to access the repair option with an autounattend.xmlbut I came up with an answar is to make a copy of a factory unmodified vista disc and include all the files except "install.wim" and will fit easy on a 700mb cd which i call my repair disc.Boot like a normal vista dvd and do your repairs.
