Aaron Posted April 9, 2004 Author Posted April 9, 2004 Yeah, try redownloading the files, they may be corrupt.
bean Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 redownloading them was the first thing i tried, just grabbed em again and still no joy also is it just me or has the ms site been painfully slow lately?

jraaby Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Can MDAC 2.8 be slipstreamed into the unattended XP install? I'm not having much luck getting it done.ThanksThere's a great guide here: GreenMachine's SpaceWhen you've made the installer, put it in the i386\Update folder and add it to the svcpack.inf file at the top of the list (i.e. before the hotfixes).
bean Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 i just tried installing the hotfixes on an original copy of xp with no unattended stuff, still aint having it. its not just those either, any update that uses that kind of installer fails :/could it be cos im using xp home?
