HyperHacker
File system might be corrupt, try error checking and defrag. Might also be a registry problem.

Zxian
Either your settings aren't being saved on exit, or something is changing them on shutdown/startup.I take it you've run malware scans?

jcarle
If no malware found, set regkey and set permissions to Read only for system and all users.where to set that ??Right-click on Shell Folders in the left pane of RegEdit, choose Permissions...If it appears, change the Everyone user to Read Only.If it appears, change the SYSTEM user to Read Only. This will prevent malware from changing the settings.
