belluso_316 Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 hello everyone here are my specscore 2 duo 2.4 gasus p5n-32 sli se deluxenvidia 7900 gs 256mb video card2gb corsair 2channeland a 320 gb sata hdand the diablotech case and matching 450wts psuok i can see the bios with no prob but i put the win xp to install the os in my new hd for the firast time and it start loading the drivers ansd stuff but it give me an error before i can even chosse the particions and all that to start installing xp the error is a blue screen and reads bad_system_config and other stuff can any one have an idea of what can be the problem???any help thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Polarman Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 When i got a new PC, i had to setup my hard drive (WD Raptor) using the Data lifeguard tools. This is assuming your hard drive is a Werstern Digital and SATA.I could not install windows at all before i partitionned and format using that disk.
