Lately my computer has been acting up. When surfing web pages hangs or when I close 1 tab it closes all tabs.

Now lights sometimes flicker. Is this software or hardware related? Is power supply going out?

hmmm, lights that flicker looks like the power supply indeed.

Is this on a fresh installed OS? And did you try another power cable or re-seating the power ATX connector on tour motherboard?

Your windows installation could be corrupted.

have you scannned for viruses with a online scanner or just a upto date scanner,, its best to scan with 2 different ways

OK thanks. I am going to do a virus scan and also check to see if psu is secure.
