November 10, 200619 yr Ok, I'm a noob on this, but my experience says me that I learn quickly...So I explain my problem:I wanna use nlite with Windows Xp Media Center 2005, but it is in english, and I speak spanish (...that's why my english is poor ) so I have MCELOCPACK_ESN to translate to spanish, but for install MCELOCPACK_ESN it says:First, install .NET Framework, then install RollUp2 and finally install MCELOCPACK_ESN.So first I have to integrate .NET Framework 3.0 then integrate RollUp2 so finally integrate MCELOCPACK_ESN.But I was wondering if is possible to do it.And also I want to integrate these:-DirectX 9.0c October 2006-Windows Media Player (spanish version)-Internet Explorer 7 (spanish version)-Windows defenderSo, when the installation of media center finalizes, I would have my media center in Spanish, and:-DirectX 9.0c October 2006-Windows Media Player (spanish version)-Internet Explorer 7 (spanish version)-Windows defenderInstalled. Please, help me...
November 11, 200619 yr no its ,net framework 1 you needI'm pretty sure it's the .net framework 1.1 and the sp1 for the .net framework 1.1,
November 12, 200619 yr to integrate DirectX 9.0c October 2006, you need hfslipand maybe it will work with -Windows Media Player (spanish version)-Internet Explorer 7 (spanish version)-Windows defendertryhttp://hfslip.org/just follow the instructions carefully!
November 12, 200619 yr Author Thnx!!! I'll try, but It isn't better install .NET Framework 3.0 that 1.1???Sorry about my english Edited November 12, 200619 yr by NeoZeruel
November 13, 200619 yr there is no use in installing .NET Framework 3.0. when the application doesnt need it. just waste of system resources.you should install .NET1.1 SP1 and that would work great
November 13, 200619 yr You have to leave .NET 1.0 on the CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to install the UpdateRollup2 you need to install .NET 1.1 SP1 first, but don't remove the .NET Framework 1.0!!!!!!!!!!
November 13, 200619 yr after talking several times over ICQ nuhi added the .NET Framework under mce compatability with version 1.2, but all earlier versions allow you to remove .NET 1.0
November 13, 200619 yr Author Ok, let me explain better:I know .NET Framework 1.1 and its SP1 have to be installed before install rollup2, but it isn't better to have .NET Framework 3.0???Because I use some programs that use .NET Framework 2.0... and I know that 3.0 is 2.0 plus some actualizations for vista programs...And as I said before: I want to integrate these programs, so when the installation of media center finalizes, I would have my media center in Spanish, and:-DirectX 9.0c October 2006-Windows Media Player (spanish version)-Internet Explorer 7 (spanish version)-Windows DefenderInstalled.
