LLXX
There are plenty of data recovery programs out there designed specifically for flash drives.Do some Googling.
Andromeda43
And then remember one very simple rule:Never MOVE data for backup. By it's very definition "Backup" means a second copy. Always leave the original data in place when you do a backup. Then if something happens to one copy, you've always got the other one.Since almost forever, MOVE is a short term for "Copy and Delete". That's the way computers move data. They copy it to the new location and then delete the original. Once a file is deleted from Your HD, the next file saved could overwrite it.Learn from your mistake and NEVER Move Data again. Always COPY it.Good Luck, B)
Jeremy
Copying won't do any good if you make a copy of a file on the same harddrive/partition and it happens to go bad. But other than that, yeah, burn your backups to CD/DVD, store on anexternal harddrive or flash drive, online storage, whatever... and keep the original copies. sultan_emerr
You might try a system restore to a date before you moved the files, or see = http://www.snapfiles.com/get/restoration.htmlThe free trial of Search & Recover 4 may be worth a try:- http://www.iolo.com/sr/4/ http://www.canadiancontent.net/tech/downlo...ive_Rescue.htmlhttp://www.quetek.com/reviews_all.htmhttp://www.download2you.com/details_page.asp?titleID=9753http://www.winrecovery.com/undelete/?rid=g...&kid=wu0406 http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm
