Neji Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Good day guys! I installed deepfreeze 6 in my computer a month a ago and I can say its a nice program... Unfortunately, i was about to install a game in my computer but i forgot my password... Is there any way i can bypass, save changes or simply disable deepfreeze... Hope you guys could lend me a hand...
IcemanND Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Didn't find anything for 6, but a lot of stuff for 5. Try this http://www.governmentsecurity.org/forum/in...p;hl=deepfreezeor google: 'disable deepfreeze'
Nepali Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 yes ofcourseIf this post is illigal This post can be deleted .... 1. install deep freeze on a test system (and remember the pw this time)2. unfreeze the test system3. boot the test system to a non-win os like knoppix 4. mount the test system's unfrozen partition5. copy Persi0.sys from the root of the unfrozen partition6. boot the target computer to knoppix7. replace Persi0.sys on the target's frozen partition8. reboot the target (should come up unfrozen)9. use the deep freeze installer to uninstall before you accidently freeze it againU can find the unfreezer tools on the net (Deep Unfreezer.exe)
Jeremy Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Try harder to remember your password. Write it down in a notebook.
