really I am in big trouble Symantec Antivirus version 10.2.0.199 With Auto Protect turns off and Uninstaller fails

to complete

I've tried many times to uninstall it without a success, I need to install NOD32 2.7 beta

is there any way to uninstall Symantec from my machine completely,

Please discuss and thanks in advance many thanks for any help comes

yes they used to have a cleaner but there's no one for 10 version , I gave a try to it but it doesnt work ,

thanks for the link < Iwill try the longest way and I'll tell you about it .

Actually I've tried many times to uninstall it 100%, but failed 100% and the only was was a clean install, If you find a better way I'll be glad to know.

Just a thing I want to suggest here... I think it is the time to use acronis workstation and make an image for your windows after a clean install with all drivers set. so in case you want to try any thing it will take a few minutes to set every thing back in case you missed a thing

yes I did it with a longest way and finally I got rid of it :)

I must say that there's some things here I escape because the file already doesn't existe at all

so here I am now with NOD32 2.7 Beta working in Windows Vista with less memory usage :)

till this moment every things alright and its stable , updated with the latest virus signature and I wish that EST will work more to the Final version,

is anythings happen I'll keep you in track with it.

I swore off Symantec products a while back when their stuff started becoming so bloated and it wanted to manage the OS. The performance hit from Symantec is horrible.

I'm currently using Avast Pro 4.7 in Vista and it works great (there is a free version also). I also have the NOD32 2.7 running on one of my Vista machines and it works fine too.
