hi all

im looking for a fan for the nVidia Geforce FX 5700 card

ARCTIC COOLING VGA SILENCER FOR NVIDIA AGP FX5700, PCI-X16 6200/6600

the video card is AGP port

8x , 256 mem DVI and ( dam it cant think of its name .. the normal blue port arr type D plug ) VGA port ( i think )

one small problem is that im australia so the site must be local

what do you think of that type of card for the my video card

PS .. i dont play games that much so please dont say get a new card due to the fact i dont see the point in droping 150 $ on a card where its going to get s*** all use ...

Also have a look at the NV Silencer 1 Rev2, from Arctic Cooling. It specifically says it is for the 5700 AGP. (among others)

Question:

- Did you check all your capasitors on your card?

- How old is your card and how much (hours a day) is it used?

- How much is 1 AUS$ compared to 1 US$? (At your local area) (Stange question but it diferents a lot from place to place )

the card is about 18 months old.... the pc itself runs almost every day .. coz it the media pc / once in a blue moon game box

one AUD to green back ( australia dollor to us dollor ) is about 75 US cents

Did you check all your capasitors on your card? :: they look ok to me ...

The card isn´t that old so I would say go for the cooler , 30 US$ isn´t that much and the AC coolers are great .
