On the Date & Time tab, wasn't this at one time updated for a better looking clock, or did this cause issues? I searched before posting on this and found talk of a similar thing, but wanted to clarify. Perhaps it could be patched again without issues, if that is why it isn't patched now?

I think there was a major issue with it. I forgot why but it was a big hassle.

A huge hassle trying it always caused many major issues!

I was thinking someone could find a nice looking clock and embed it into a new cpl...

But then it needs to be tied in with the system so you can change the clock...

A new clock would be nice, one gripe, but can't you use Lclock?

LClock doesnt change the Analogue clock in timedate.cpl (aka double click the clock in system tray and up pops a window, thats timedate.cpl)

Doesn't seem buggy to me.

But doesn't look very smooth, and doesn't tie in with the xpize theme very well.

Still very interesting to see where the image needs to be changed.

it was buggy on non english xp thats why it wasnt included

BUT, here is an idea, somehow get the graphics from the vista TimeDate.CPL clock and pop it in... It looks nice
