Package Installer (898461) 0 File(s) copied

Featured Replies

I'm getting 0 File(s) copied message with 898461.. I checked even with the last stable release of HFSLIP, still the same. It's not that it's a big deal with me since I don't seem to have a problem with Windows Update. Besides, I always manually install updates after downloading them.. I'm just wondering if it's okay to have this "0 File(s) copied" message?

hfsilent.zip

It depends on the situation. Here's it's OK because the SP*QFE folder doesn't contain any binaries of use.

So then what's the point of including it :P?

Also, since when has HFSLIP had CD burning in it (see glentium's HFSLIP screen log)? I guess you put it in yourself?

So then what's the point of including it :P?
Because the UPDATE folder contains three needed binaries as well as an installation INF file for the registry modifications :D

HFSLIP doesn't show this because you'd see something like:

file1.ref

1 File(s) copied.

file2.ref

1 File(s) copied.

file3.ref

1 File(s) copied.

Pretty ugly :P

personally, i'd like to see those "ugly" messages.. :) as I like to dump the whole HFSLIP process screen messages to a text file so I can always review what HFSLIP did. i think it's prettier than "0 File(s) copied" which is quite alarming.. just my two cents. :)
