September 5, 200322 yr Author Yeah I didn't give it access. Has anyone here ever seen that name? It's probably a trojan cuz it show's the ip that was trying to get access. I did a windows search for that name but nothing came up. I'm gonna do a virus scan on my computer right now so that's gonna take a while.

September 5, 200322 yr Author Drewdatrip: Thanks for the suggestion. I did a virus scan with norton and nothing came up; but I'll try the on-line one. Also isn't there a trojan remover called "Trojan Remover"? Can anyone suggest a good trojan remover? And the theme is Classic. Here's the link for it, it's a great theme.
September 5, 200322 yr That may not necessarily be a trojan virus you have.A trojan virus is a virus implanted within a program, or disguised as something it isnt. It gets its name from the old Trojan Horse that was used back in the olden days to fool enemies and gain access to castles. You may be looking at a normal, run of the mill, malicious virus So dont just limit your removing techniques to that of trojan horses.

September 5, 200322 yr Whatever what it is, I think you did the right thing by not allowing it to connect to the net.My policy on that is not to allow something I don't know to connect to the net.Other' suggestions are good too, especially the one about the anti-virus...
