tcarman
G'day All,Does anyone know of a freeware app that will help me setup my NICs through WPI. I understand you can have Windows prompt you for this during install but I want to leave all user input until the very end.I basically want it to do the followingEnumerate all NICs using WMIAbility to set IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS for each NICDoes not require input from a file (e.g. .ini file).A small utility requiring no installDoes anyone know of any such app ? Anyone good with scripting and want to write one ? I saw this post but none of these fit my needs.Cheers.

mritter
I have been wanting to build this in to WPI, but couldn't find everything I needed, either. I would either need command line switches and/or read from a .ini/.txt file and set all the options: IP, DNS, Workgroup or Domain, Computer name, user name and password, etc.The above looks good in the screen shots, have not tried it yet. NETSH can't do like 15% of the above. WSName has potential, have not tried it yet, either, just glanced at the website.
