September 16, 200619 yr yes, you should definetly have at least 12gigs, 15gigs would be better tho just in case vista needs the space

September 16, 200619 yr Author i agree, its tough to slim down Vista, but not impossible. It never asked me what features i want when i actually started installing. Moreover it cant upgrade my XP as it was FAT32 format
