blue screen error- dumping of physcial memory
i guess its more coz of RAM, check if ur motherboard support the RAM u have. and most of the times restart of the machine will help resolvng the issue

my Win XP SP2 installation is not going through it says "checking inventory" and then it checks the product code id & then throws up "internal error" "SP2 installation cant proceed" someone please help me I dont think its the problem with WGA as other updates happen without a problem.

Vista - HDD query
i agree, its tough to slim down Vista, but not impossible. It never asked me what features i want when i actually started installing. Moreover it cant upgrade my XP as it was FAT32 format

Help: removing win98 & keeping winXP
